Christina Das is the author of "Coo Coo Duckling", named a 2007 KIND Honor Book by the youth division of the Humane Society of the United States. In this rhyming story, Elsie skips past a pond when she hears a soft coo coming from a lost duckling stuck in the mud. Feeling for the little duck, she befriends him and helps him find his family. Her other picture books include "Munchy Mouse", "Oomph-Pa-Pa at the Circus", "Swinging Under the Stars" and "The Red Spotted Balloon".
